FOOD AND ECONOMIC SECURITY OFFICER

Oxfam Syria seeks a Food and Economic Security Officer for its Eastern Hub in Deir Alzour. The role supports the design, implementation and monitoring of integrated food and economic security interventions that help individuals, households and communities protect, recover, strengthen and diversify their livelihoods and income sources across humanitarian response, early recovery and resilience contexts, using modalities including cash and voucher assistance, livelihood protection and recovery support, productive assets and income generation. The post holder contributes to assessments of household and community livelihoods, productive capacities, vulnerabilities and coping strategies; monitors changes in livelihood and economic conditions including the effects of shocks and market changes; and supports agriculture and agri-food livelihood interventions. Interventions must address barriers and risks facing women, young people and persons with disabilities. On-site, Grade National D1.
